Early Life :
- Salman Khan is the eldest son of screenwriter Salim Khan and his first wife Sushila Charak (who later adopted the name Salman Khan).
- His paternal ancestors were Alakozai Pashtuns from present-day Afghanistan who immigrated to Indore, Madhya Pradesh in the mid 1800s.
- His grandfather Abdul Rashid Khan was a Deputy Inspector General of the Indore state who was awarded Diler Jung award of the Holkar times.
- Khan’s mother is a Maharashtrian,whose father Baldev Singh Charak, a Dogra Rajput, comes from Jammu-Kashmir and whose mother comes from Maharashtra. Khan’s stepmother is Helen, a former actress. He has two brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan; and two sisters, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, who is married to actor/director Atul Agnihotri, and an adopted sister Arpita.
Salman finished his schooling at St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai, as did his younger brothers Arbaaz and Sohail. Previously, he studied at The Scindia School, Gwalior for a few years along with his younger brother Arbaaz. He attended St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai but dropped out.

Salman Khan is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films. Khan made his debut in 1989 with a supporting role in the family drama Biwi Ho To Aisi, following which he had his breakthrough role in Sooraj Barjatya’s blockbuster romance Maine Pyar Kiya, for which he earned a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.
He earned his first acting role at the age of 23 in the 1988 film, Biwi Ho to Aisi. In his second film, Maine Pyar Kiya, he played the lead role. For his performance, he received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
His film Ek Tha Tiger became the second-highest earning Bollywood film in history when it grossed nearly $57 million in 2012.
He has two brothers named Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan and a sister named Arpita Khan Sharma. He dated Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai in 1999.

we all have heard the Salman khan verdict for killing two black bucks in Jodhpur during the film shoot Ham Saath Saath Hai.the actor was convicted by trial court and sentenced to five years jail for killing two black bucks in 1998.Salman was jailed in this case once.
